Chevalier Joe Tiernan GCHS

Tiernan is an ancient and honourable Irish surname, first mentioned in County Cavan from where it spread to Leitrim and Roscommon. Tiernan was the name of a grandson of Turlough Mór O’Connor / O’Conor, King of Connacht (1106–1156) and High King of Ireland (ca. 1120–1156).
